Linux: installeer BitTorrent Sync - zodat het werkt
U kunt ook de BitTorrent Sync-tool op uw Linux-computer gebruiken. We laten u zien hoe het werkt.
Installeer BitTorrent Sync op Linux
Deze handleiding beschrijft de handmatige installatie. Afhankelijk van de gebruikte Linux-distributie, kunt u BitTorrent Sync ook installeren met behulp van een ingebouwde pakketbeheerder.
- Het eerste wat u moet doen, is het pakket downloaden van de BitTorrent Sync-website.
- Selecteer het juiste pakket voor uw systeem onder de categorie "Linux". In de meeste gevallen is "Linux_x64 (glibc 2.3)" of "Linux i386 (glibc 2.3)" de juiste - afhankelijk van of u een 32- of 64-bits systeem gebruikt.
- Open een opdrachtregel en gebruik de opdracht "cd" om naar de map te gaan met het bestand dat u eerder hebt gedownload.
- Pak het bestand nu uit met het commando "tar -xvzf FILE". Vervang "BESTAND" door de bestandsnaam van het gedownloade archiefbestand. Bijvoorbeeld: "tar -xvzf bittorrent_sync_glibc23_x64.tar.gz".
- Na het uitpakken ontvangt u de drie bestanden "LICENSE.TXT", "README" en "btsync". "btsync" is het uitvoerbare programmabestand. U kunt dit naar een andere locatie verplaatsen.
Start BitTorrent Sync op Linux
Het starten van BitTorrent Sync is heel eenvoudig na installatie:
- Open een terminalvenster.
- Ga terug naar de map van het bestand "btsync" met de opdracht "cd".
- Start het programma nu met het commando: "./btsync".
- Zoals u in de uitvoer kunt zien, wordt het programma gestart (zonder grafische interface).
- U hebt nu toegang tot BitTorrent Sync via uw browser. Typ hiervoor uw regel in: "localhost: 8888".
