Om toegang te krijgen tot de logbestanden, hoeft u niet noodzakelijk een bepaald pad met Explorer te openen:
- Met OpenVPN kunt u de logboekbestanden openen met slechts twee tot drie klikken. Klik hiervoor op de pijl in de taakbalk en klik vervolgens met de rechtermuisknop op het OpenVPN-symbool (zie screenshot).
- U kunt het logbestand van de huidige verbinding rechtstreeks openen met de knop "Logboek bekijken". Als alternatief kunt u de opnames voor alle verbindingen handmatig vinden onder het pad: "C: \ Program Files \ OpenVPN \ log".
- In de standaardconfiguratie van OpenVPN in Linux-distributies vindt u de uitvoer van OpenVPN in het systeemlogboek. Afhankelijk van de Linux-afgeleide bevindt deze zich bijvoorbeeld in "/ var / log / messages" of "/ var / log / syslog". Zoek in dit systeemlogboek naar trefwoorden zoals "VPN" om de gewenste regels te krijgen.
- Dit laatste werkt bijvoorbeeld eenvoudig met de opdracht "grep" in de terminal: "grep VPN / var / log / syslog".
