Linux: laat netwerkverkeer zien - hoe het werkt
In deze praktische tip laten we u zien hoe u uw netwerkverkeer in Linux kunt weergeven. Er is een breed scala aan opdrachtregelprogramma's en kleine programma's die uw netwerk kunnen analyseren.
Linux: Toon netwerkverkeer met Etherape
- Open een terminalvenster en installeer het pakket etherape met het commando "sudo apt-get install etherape" (zonder aanhalingstekens).
- Start Etherape nu via het menu of rechtstreeks via de terminal met het commando "sudo etherape".
- Klik op "Acquisitie" in het Etherape-menu en selecteer uw verbindingstype (bijv. WLAN) onder "Interfaces". Klik vervolgens op "Start".
- Afhankelijk van het overgedragen volume worden huidige verbindingen weergegeven met dikke verbindingslijnen. Passieve verbindingen worden weergegeven door dunne strips. U kunt de verschillende soorten logboeken op kleur vertellen.
- Als alternatief kunt u ook het Wireshark-programma installeren. Met het commando "sudo apt-get install threadshark" krijg je dit programma voor netwerkanalyse op je Linux-systeem.
Bekijk netwerkverkeer vanaf de terminal
- Open een terminalvenster en installeer het opdrachtregelprogramma met de opdracht "sudo apt-get install ethstatus" (zonder aanhalingstekens).
- Start het hulpprogramma met de volgende opdracht: "ethstatus -i interface-naam -S snelheidsspecificatie". In een voorbeeld zou het er zo uit kunnen zien: "ethstatus -i wlan0 -S 6m".
- Als alternatief kunt u ook netstat of iftop installeren.
